“When my father died suddenly of a heart attack, we knew that my step-mother would not be able to stay on her own at their acreage in Kanata. They had a large home, stuffed with decades of possessions and memories. None of the children live in the Ottawa area, which added to the challenge of relocating my step-mother and getting the house ready to sell. Fortunately, one of my step-mother’s friends recommended that we contact Judy Robinson at Senior Moves.
Judy was an immense help to us. The movers she arranged to relocate my step-mother were prompt and courteous. Judy brought in her team to go through everything left in the house, helping us decide what to donate, sell, recycle and discard. Her team cleaned the house from top to bottom and staged the house for sale. She arranged a painter to do some touch up painting and a landscaper to fix up the yard and gardens. When the acreage finally sold several months later, she brought her team back to finish cleaning out the house. She even took care of selling my father’s grand piano for us.
The services provided by Judy and her team were outstanding, and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Senior Moves to anyone requiring similar services.”
